STUDY FOR YOUR TEST!
B-day worked on the TIC TAC TOE review and then took the Right Triangle Unit Test - 78 pts. I also took a grade over all of the Unit Review (HW #11) for 6 pts.
(This is what A-day did on Monday)
On A day, we continued to review for the test. Our warm-up was area of 3 triangles (attached), one with Pyth Theorem, one with shortcut, one with trig. We also had a problem about finding a point on a circle centered at the origin, with a list of instructions on how to do that:
In 1st and 2nd we did some work with the TIC TAC TOE review.
We also did a practice quiz.

On A day, we continued to review for the test. Our warm-up was area of 3 triangles (attached), one with Pyth Theorem, one with shortcut, one with trig. We also had a problem about finding a point on a circle centered at the origin, with a list of instructions on how to do that:
- Copy the sketch.
- Look at coordinates; what is the radius?
- Connect the point in question to the x-axis to form a right triangle.
- How many degrees is the acute angle of the triangle at the origin?
- So which shortcut will help find the legs?
- Use the shortcut to find the legs of the right triangle.
- Give the coordinates (horizontal leg, vertical leg) including signs for the correct quadrant.
In 1st and 2nd we did some work with the TIC TAC TOE review.
We also did a practice quiz.
