Our big goals:
- Discover and apply what it means for two figures to be congruent based on rigid transformations
- Think about translations from several approaches: words, algebraic rule, physical vector, vector rule, working backwards to get pre-image
- Develop personal preferences for thinking about and performing rigid transformations.
We also got some hints for the quiz in Block 4 - 18 pts
1) HW worksheet questions are like the quiz questions.
1) Know your vocabulary from 1st day note-building activity (fill-in-the-blank).
2) Multiple choice over basics of rigid transformations.
3) One open response where a graph is required (extra space for graphing on other problems).
If you have rotations on your homework, continue to use patty paper for that.
HW #3 - half worksheet attached below. Use your half sheet graph paper as needed. Not necessary to graph every question. PLUS - p 130: 1a-f, 2a-e, 4a-d. (Graph if requested.)
You can use back of graph paper for textbook work, front for worksheet.
0B also has a rotation worksheet, attached below.
