Finals are almost here! Thanks to all of you who came and got your make-up "Volume Quest" done. Students should see their scores in the next block.
0B is a block ahead. They have already had one review day for the final and received the handout for the second review assignment (attached below). Also attached is the Final Review Topic List (typed while Ms. Bogart was staring at the final... so a highly useful list).
The first review assignment (due next block for all other classes) is
Similarity: pp 404-6: 1-3, 7, 10-12, 16, 18, 24
Right Triangles: p 528-9: 2-3, 5-8, 10, 14, 23, 25
Trig - p 591: 1-3, 6-8, 1-11, 17-19. (read pp 584-6 for help).
During block 41, we did a warm-up to prepare for the quiz, checked review answers, asked questions, and then took the Volume Quest in the last half of class. The Topic List was handed out along with FR #1 listed above.
The next two blocks will include plenty of practice each day. Some of the practice will be re-working parts of old tests, which will not be available on this website. The first day started with a warm-up to retrieve a conceptual understanding of dilation, similarity, and connections to right triangle trigonometry. That activity is attached below also.
