This block was a littler different for A and B day. B day is actually gaining a day (I did not miss a day of B day). B day is preparing to test on Friday (our next block). A day is continuing to practice (especially trig) to prepare for test on Monday.
On A day classes, we went back to what I was not here for on Thursday. Any questions over HW #10, the trig homework? What are the three ratios? How do you recognize which one to use? How to solve if x is in a numerator or a denominator or if it is an angle. We shared the word problems that were done in class last time.
We practiced with questions from a review sheet in class (attached with answers below). We practiced a couple of application problems, especially one where we were solving for an angle.
HW #11: p 529: 1-8 (may have done in class on Thursday), 10, 14, 15, 18, 23, 25, 28, p 508: 17-18, p 612: 1-6, 16-18. These last problems are trig practice and very important.
On #10 and #14, you must know the formula for area of a circle. Look it up!
In some classes I took a grade over the Trig HW #10 for 4 pts.
Quizzes were returned.
On B day, we did a warm-up to find area of 3 triangles and to find a point on a circle. The topics were passed out.
