Our goal today in geometry was to able to identify and use and angle of elevation or angle of depression in an application problem. There is a homework assignment (#3) attached below and handed out in class that has practice on this skill.
I collected HW #1 (it was due Monday) for 4 pts.
Students worked to finish their review assignments, which were either turned in or will be collected Friday at the beginning of class, along with HW #3.
We did a changing partners activity that addressed application problems with trig ratios, some with angles of elevation or depression.
Test topics for Friday's unit test were passed out also, and are attached below.
SO:
Finish HW #2 (Unit review)
Do HW #3 - word problems with trig ratios
Make sure you can do first unit quiz on Pythagorean Theorem.
Go through topic list and make sure you can do each skill listed.
