Today in class we practiced more work on angle pairs when 2 or more lines are cut by a transversal.
Our key terms:
transversal, linear pairs of angles, vertical angles, corresponding angles, alternate interior angles, alternate exterior angles, consecutive interior angles
Many students did not complete HW #1 that was due today. Remember that we get two oopsies for the 2nd half of the semester: an assignment can be completed and turned in one block late for full credit, but it must be very well done.
HW #2 was assigned today and is due Wednesday. Students may write on the handout. Remember that you must give an angle pair reason for two angles to be either congruent or supplementary. The homework is like what we did in class today only even easier. It is downloadable below.
On 2-11, on the blanks that say "conjecture" or "theorem", write the name of the angle pair theorem that allows you to find the missing angle.
There will be a quiz at the end of class on Friday.
