First off: to prepare for next class, 2nd, 3rd and 0B will be answering 4 questions from the test that they did not see today. Three are explain why, one is multiple choice. You still need to know your points of concurrency and C-12-13.
B day actually got a small start on the new unit over Rigid Transformations. We did an investigation of reflecting a figure across a line on patty paper and then made observations about it. No homework.
There was a warm-up over points of concurrency vocabulary and applying definitions algebraically. Then we took the test after looking at answers to the review to make sure we understood that. In some classes a grade was taken over the review (3rd period for sure).
If you missed the test, you did not come today during advisory to make it up. You should have. It needs to be taken Tuesday. Come when you can. Don't wait til advisory on Wednesday.
We will begin a new unit next time over rigid transfomations (isometries) of reflection across a line, rotation around a point, and translation along a vector. We will work with and without the coordinate plane. It will be tested November 6-7. There will be one short quiz before then.
