A day had a substitute while I was at my last Math Task Force meeting. Therefore, A day test on circles is delayed until Friday. You will have time on Friday before the test to ask questions. I will also send an invite to come in Friday morning for questions.
Today in class you had a warm-up (attached below with answers) that would be especially helpful for the test. There were three unit circle problems. There was some vocabulary practice, and there were four other questions to help prepare for the test that were not in the textbook review. The answers with work shown were on the back of the review sheet.
Answers to the review from the book were provided with work shown. These are also attached to the blog post below this one.
Answers to the Unit Circle blanks were provided as well (particularly radians).
The last part of class was spent writing up definitions for the next unit.
From pp 504-507, write up definitions and sketches for
polyhedron (mention face, edge, vertices)
tetrahedron (4-faced polyhedron)
regular polyhedron
prism (mention base and lateral faces)
pyramid (mention base, lateral faces and vertex)
sphere
hemisphere
cylinder
Then do p 508:2-9.
The only homework is to study for the test, using the study guide posted on the blog below this one.
