We are finished with our basic geometric terms. Each student should now have a section of their notebook called "Geometric Truth" with more space to use as the year progresses (I suggested saving 20 pages). It now has 39 terms in it, 3 of which are our undefined terms: point, line, and plane.
I took a grade for 5 pts over this section. Students who did not have it completed need to bring it tomorrow for me to check so that the grade will be better on their progress report. Each entry has a term, a definition, a sketch, and a label, along with the page number from the book.
Warm-ups took up half of our class today. Two worksheets are attached below. We also did the following work from the textbook: p 51:1-6 (sketch, not draw); p 90:43-44, p 64:10-12, p 79:23,24,26-28,30,31. Answers to p 51 are attached below.
On p 90, #43 is 16 cm, #44 is 96 degrees.
I also took a grade on HW #6a&b. We will go over the second part next time.
If you were absent, you need to come during advisory on Tuesday to take your make-up quiz.
