We used geogebra to figure out what Pi is, what the formula for circumference is, and how to find part of a circumference (arc length).
We also used geogebra to demonstrate the relationships for inscribed and central angles, angle inscribed in a semi-circle, tangent to radius angle, and congruent tangent segments.
We practiced some good questions out of Discovering Geometry, and then we started working through a handout about circles on the ACT. Students should complete the first 11 problems on this handout for homework.
Friday we finish circles; next week we start area/surface area/volume.
The unit test will be our final. So no exemptions.
