Today in class we had an 18 point quiz over the basics of transformations. The quiz contained vocabulary, translations, and reflections, no rotation. If you missed the quiz, you need to come Tuesday during advisory and make it up.
On Wednesday at the end of class we will have a unit test over transformations worth 60 pts.
Today we practiced using our vocabulary and adding to our vocabulary notes. We did investigations that used two transformations together (called a composition). One was two translations, and one was a translation followed by a reflection.
We also practiced rotations and even rotated around a point that is not the origin, using an "Aussie" math activity.
HW #9 is attached below... it is all rotation. Patty paper is encouraged.
