Today we started section 5.2 over trig identities. It is not really new to us. Ms. Bogart used a warm-up to try to make sure that you understand where the cofunction and even/odd identities come from.
Questions over section 5.1 textbook and worksheet and webassign were addressed in class. A few were worked out.
We pre-viewed 5.2 - identities, reading from textbook about what an identity problem is and why we only work one side (it's a proof that two expressions are the same... what if they are not... you cannot mix the sides). We did an example and looked at problems 55-56 on homework and how they come from cofunction identities.
HW #10 - P 360: 1-9, 11-23 ODD, 31, 44, 55, 56, 63.
Then everyone took the 5.1 quiz and worked on homework when they finished.
