Happy Valentine's Day!
Today we started class by looking at all the answers and work for HW #11b and the review worksheet. Ms. Bogart emphasized being careful with the calculator with there is a product in a denominator (put the denominator in parentheses or use fraction format). Questions were entertained. Suggestions were made.
I also showed an easy way to use Pythagorean Theorem to get the perpendicular force when a vehicle is parked on a ramp.
We also went over carefully why it is so easy to find the dot product of u and v when you know the angle and the two magnitudes (use the formula for angle between two vectors).
The review 6.3-4 was passed out for homework (#12). Work on it after the quiz. Due Wednesday.
We took the quiz 6.4.
I did not take a grade yet over HW #11 a-c. I did return the quizzes over 6.3 for 24 pt grade.
Test will be Wednesday, Feb 19, over 6.3-4 after lunch after we have time to go over the worksheet.
No new content that day!!!
