And we're done with 2 small units that made one big unit with a 90 pt assessment today: Building Blocks and Angle Pairs. Tests will be scored by class time on Mon-Tues next week.
We started class with a review of midpoint formula from the first quiz and the beginning of the unit. Answers to all of the review were shown; any questions answered.
Ordered compasses were handed out. They are needed for the new homework. We previewed the Daisy Design on p 10 of the textbook. If you do not have a compass, I have about 15 that I can sell at the beginning of A&E today. Or you need to get one at Office Depot.
Homework, 5 pts, due next block:
Use a compass to create a daisy design from the instructions on p 10 of the textbook or by using the daisy link under "Look for Resources" tab. Use copy paper. Add color. Design must be more elaborate than one simple daisy. Multiples or different sizes or elaboration of the one daisy with extra petals or decor, etc.
