Today in class with finished our "tool belt", learning all the basic construction skills that we can then synthesize to construct all kinds of triangles, angles, and segments.

- Copy a segment (double, add, subtract)
- copy an angle (double, add)
- construct a daisy (regular hexagon)
- construct an equilateral triangle (or a 60 degree angle)
- perpendicular bisector of a segment (locates a midpoint) (also for medians, midsegments in triangles)
- angle bisector of an angle
- perpendicular from a point to a line (also altitude)
- Perpendicular from a point on a line (useful for right triangles and squares, etc.
We added Conjectures 5 and 6 to geometric truth (p 156-7) and added p 158:10 to homework #13, also taking a grade on HW #13 for 4 pts. We then figured out how to bisect an angle, to construct a perpendicular from a segment to a line, what is an altitude in a triangle (look up in textbook) and how to construct it, and well as constructing a 90 degree angle on a line.
