Today we practiced reflecting, rotating, and translating different geometric figures. We learned how to write a function rule for a translation and how to write in vector notation. We learned some strategies for rotating 90 or 270 degrees around the origin in either direction.
We also learned about how to find the shortest path from a point to a line and back to a different point on the same side of the line.
HW #1 received a 4 pt grade.
HW #2 - due next time we meet: pp 370-2: 6, 12-16 AND
Write a paragraph that explains how to find the "minimal path" from a point to a line and back to another point on the same side of the line. And then explain why it works. (Some help on p 368 in textbook.)
