HW #11 was assigned, due next block, for 4 pts. It is a small review of some key topics from volume and surface area.
We also practiced naming solids by multiple names again in class today.
I demonstrated how to decide what solid is formed when a two-dimensional figure is spun around an axis, and how to determine what the 2-dimensional cross section of a 3-dimensional solid is, based on location on the solid.
We had plenty of time to have questions answered about the long homework: HW #10.
HW #11 - started in class with about 30 or so minutes left:
p 456: 26,31,44
p 509: 27-35,
p 524: 9, 16 (B day has already done)
P 594: 16, p 548: 10, pp 555-7: 13,23,28.
