Today's block was devoted to improving our skills with interpreting sketches of circles and identifying relationships based on our circle properties. Continue to use last block's handout (downloadable on next blog post down).
Our next class will include a 24 pt quiz over the Unit Circle. These problems will be just like our warm-up on Wed-Thurs last week. Degrees, radians, and coordinates of an indicated ray in 6 different circles.
Ms. Bogart tried to make sure that everyone had an opportunity to "see what they did not see" on HW #12 on p 322 and p 315.
Our warm-up today was practice identifying names and sketches of our different circle vocabulary terms.
We spend most of class working on a new worksheet (attached below) and also assigned as part of HW #13 is:
p 323:15-17, 22, p 335:16, p 310: 1-11.
Next class we will take our quiz, take a practice quiz over circle properties, learn more about circumference and area, and have textbook homework over circumference and area.
Students may start returning textbooks on Monday, May 22. Erasing marks would be very helpful!! Books do not have to be turned in until the day of the final.
