Aspire Interims will be taken during the next block, but we will also start reviewing for a test/big quiz to be taken Thurs/Fri next week. (B day is a test, A day is a big quiz).
Today we proved that diagonals of a rectangle are congruent. We constructed convincing arguments that diagonals of a rhombus bisect the angles, and that they are perpendicular bisecctors of each other. And since a square is both a rectangle and a rhombus, then these are both true for squares. (C-49-52 on pp 288-290).
HW #18 is pp 290-292: 1-16.
We reviewed kite and trapezoid properties and applied them as a class opener. A grade was taken over HW #17 and we finished taking 5 pt grades over Geometric Truth sections of notebooks.
