Today our big goal was to learn to use, identify, describe, name, and sketch polygons, classes of polygons, concave, convex, regular, equilateral, equiangular. We constructed a good addition to our vocab section using the attachment below. You will need to look at a friend's to make sense of it.
We defined, sketched, named, modeled and labeled parallel, perpendicular, and skew lines.
We practiced sketching and matching different terms. And we practiced identifying linear pairs, vertical angles, complementary, and supplementary angle.
Homework (with instructions on it) over new polygon vocabulary is attached below.
In class project will be next Thursday, Sept 22, with a test to follow on the following Tuesday.
