Today was our first day of a unit on Transformations.
We built a set of notes over the types of transformations, their definitions, lines of symmetry, points of symmetry, etc.
We practiced reflecting and rotating with patty paper.
We investigated number of lines of symmetry in regular polygons and number of rotational symmetries in regular polygons (both the same as the number of sides).
The homework was a short handout (HW #6) attached below. Square dot paper was passed out to do problems 4-6 on the homework.
We did not view the 50 pt tests over angle pairs and reasoning. Students who have not yet taken the test must come tomorrow (Tuesday, Nov 15) during advisory.
