HW #6 is due Wednesday. Your job is to take the sketches on the worksheet and determine which of the four parallelogram properties will allow you to set up an equation and solve.
Write in your notebook. Write an equation for each problem. Solve it. All equations will either be two equal parts or two supplementary angles (they add up to 180 degrees). DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!
HW #5 was due today and only 7 people in the class did their homework. Everyone else took a homework quiz for 5 pts.
Our previous content was to find area and perimeter of polygons in the coordinate plane, naming the quadrilateral and how you know which type it is.
Today we practiced area and perimeter again. And then we did an investigation over parallelogram properties. We discovered that opposite sides are congruent, opposite angles are congruent, consecutive angles are supplementary, and the diagonals bisect each other.
The four new properties will be applied on the homework, attached below.
